Experience Innsbruck in a new way - with UP STREAM SURFING you discover the Tyrolean capital from an unusual perspective. Your outdoor experience that promises sporty action & unique impressions. All you need to surf upstream is a river, a bridge and our UP STREAM sail. It pulls you with more than 30km/h against the current, up to 100m. Without external energy & with a lot of fun.

And this is how it works
With the help of a pulley system and an underwater sail, the river speed is used to accelerate the surfer. As soon as one or two people pull on the sail, it is pulled with the current, generating the necessary energy to pull the surfer on the board against the current. Through the pulley we can multiply the power; so you can get up to 6 times faster than the river.
