We transform the Innsbruck beach again into a playground of good mood and invite you to the SöRF FILM FESTIVAL! Pure summer feeling, cinema in flip flops, pictures from the most beautiful corners of this planet and melodic sounds from the bass apparatus! 

We have planned a weekend with the motto surfing - and we would be happy if you would join us!

01.07.2021 | Warm Up Day 

We start with an Action Warmup Day at Airport Reef Innsbruck. We invite you to a pre-evening including workshops, tournaments & party. On site our new beach bar will make sure you are hydrated and there will be some bites as well!

02.07.2021 | SöRF FILM FEST

Cinema in flip flops, pure beach feeling & movies we can't get enough of. Let yourself be inspired and dive into the world of surfing. The crew of SöRF FILM FEST supports us with films that let us dive into the world of surfing together, while Radlkino Innsbruck provides us with the sustainable power to do so. On site there will be delicious snacks from local partners. You can also quench your thirst at our new beach bar.

03.07.2021 | FLUNKYBALL FOR ALL

Flunkyball for all! On 03.07.2022 the Flunkyball Tournament Innsbruck will take place at Airport Reef. Last year there were already 30 teams - this year there should be 100! End of semester, festival vibes, fancy outfits & also a bit of ambition. Are you up for it?

Team registration and individual registration are possible! On the website flunkyball-innsbruck.atyou can register directly.

On Saturday evening the annual SöRF FILM FEST goes into a new round. This year the official tour unfortunately can't take place - nevertheless the SöRF FILM FEST crew surfs by in Innsbruck and has some exciting surf films with them.

PADDLE BATTLE

Paddle Battle

The Paddle Battle is an impact event for surfers & fans. Together we paddle for a good cause and support local, international, social and green surf projects. 

Participate and paddle for the good cause. 

New in 2022: Everyone jumps into the water at the same time with the starting gun. Whoever has completed the most laps at the end wins - depending on the board used in the category shortboard, longboard, funboard. Instead of an entry fee, each participant is allowed to look for three sponsors in advance, who will reward each round with an amount. At the end there is also a prize for the highest amount donated!

SURFING AT THE SöRF FILM FESTIVAL

A sail, a bridge, and a surfboard. That's all you need to surf upstream. UP STREAM SURFING is a mixture of wakeboarding and surfing - including turns, 360s, or bunny hops. The UP STREAM system is especially beginner friendly, all you need to know is how to swim. What are you waiting for? Your outdoor adventure is waiting for you!

Choose between our courses for beginners and advanced, or try out the conditions of the river in a taster course. 

Booking

What awaits you

  • River surfing on the Inn
  • you practice on the fixed (static) rope
  • you put your skills to the test on the system and surf against the current upstream
  • larger groups possible on request
  • Accompaniment by experienced surf coaches

Equipment

  • Equipment included in the price (wetsuit, surfboard, safety equipment)
  • There are drinks, a beach & other ways to relax on site.
