In diesem Kurs lernen Teilnehmer, wie sie ihr Surfbrett beherrschen und auf unserem UP STREAM System den Fluss hinauf surfen können. Der Kurs eignet sich sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Fortgeschrittene und bietet die perfekte Gelegenheit, Surf-Fähigkeiten zu verbessern und den Fluss in einer neuen, aufregenden Weise zu erleben.

Natürlich werden die Teilnehmer dabei immer von zwei erfahrenen Surfcoaches begleitet, die notwendige Tipps und Tricks geben und auf die Sicherheit achten. So können sich die Teilnehmer voll und ganz auf ihr Training konzentrieren und ihre Surf-Skills verbessern. Unser Programm ist flexibel und passt sich den Wünschen und Fähigkeiten der Teilnehmer an.
With the help of a pulley system and an underwater sail, the speed of the river is used to accelerate the surfer. As soon as one or two people pull on the sail, it is pulled by the current and generates the necessary energy to pull the surfer on the board against the current. The pulley allows us to multiply the force, so you can go up to 6 times faster than the river.
We start with the basics of the river, you get a safety briefing and do a little swimming training in the river. You can then practise standing up on the static rope and get a first feel for your surfboard.
Can you manage to control the board? Learn how to control your board in the water and make clean turns. Prepare yourself for the UP STREAM system and for surfing right upstream!
On the UP STREAM system, you get a special adrenaline rush and are pulled up to 300m against the current. You can use the width of the river and reach speeds of up to 30 km/h (or more!).
There are drinks, a beach & other opportunities to relax on site.

Because safety is our top priority: we provide each participant with a Restube system and a helmet. Every surf coach has a first aid course, lifeguard training and training as an UP STREAM surf coach. The UP STREAM SURFING system is constantly maintained, is never left unattended on the bridge and we only operate the UP STREAM SURFING system in safe river conditions.
Was du mitbringen sollst: Ein Badetuch und etwas zum Trinken. Wir bieten auch Getränke vor Ort an. Falls ihr eigenes Surfequipment habt, könnt ihr das gerne auch mitbringen. Solltet ihr zwischen 16 und 18 Jahren alt sein, braucht ihr eine Einverständniserklärung eurer Eltern oder einer erziehungsberechtigten Person.

To take part in our surf courses, you must be at least 16 years old and be able to swim.
At the beginning of the course, participants are introduced to the safety concept and then swim a short lap in the river to get a feel for the water.
Participants can then try out the static rope to practise standing up on the board before moving on to the UP STREAM SURFING system.
While one participant surfs, two others sit on the underwater sail. They then rotate and take it in turns to surf against the current.
Important: The consumption of drugs, alcohol and medication is prohibited at UP STREAM SURFING. Physical fitness is an advantage.
Swimwear is best suited. We also recommend socks under the neoprene shoes for hygienic reasons.

You don't need to worry about floating down the river. You can swim out after just a few meters, with or without a board. What's more, if you miss an exit point, there are plenty of other ways to get out of the river.
Nevertheless, we have of course always positioned a coach as a security guard, just in case.
Yes, you must be at least 16 years old to surf on the river. However, if you are 16 or 17, you will need a written declaration of consent from your parents or the person responsible for you.
In general, you should not swim or surf alone in the river. We have developed a safety concept that allows you to surf up the river without any worries. What does this concept consist of?
