UP STREAM course
2 hours of surfing - practicing and preparing on the static (fixed) rope and then surfing upstream with the UP STREAM system.
Day ticket for advanced users
Upstream surfing all day on the UP STREAM system.
Accompaniment by experienced surf coaches.
Ideal if you want to learn to surf together.
Of course, you will always be accompanied by two experienced surf coaches who will give you the necessary tips and tricks and ensure your safety. This allows you to concentrate fully on your training and improve your surfing skills. Our program is flexible and adapts to your wishes and abilities.

UP STREAM beginner course
The UP STREAM course includes all the basics you need to surf against the current. Learn together how to control your board and make clean turns. You will get a detailed safety briefing and feel your way with a little swim training to the conditions of the river. The UP STREAM system will pull you against the current at your desired speed.
Advanced day ticket
Here you can put your skills to the test and improve your surfing skills under the professional guidance of our coaches. Use the UP STREAM system for two hours, as often as you like.

Where you need to go:
Innsbruck, Kranebitter Allee 199; accessible by bus T, parking facilities in the Hans-Flöckinger Promenade nearby.
Because safety is our top priority: we provide each participant with a Restube system and a helmet. Every surf coach has a first aid course, lifeguard training and training as an UP STREAM surf coach. The UP STREAM SURFING system is constantly maintained, is never left unattended on the bridge and we only operate the UP STREAM SURFING system in safe river conditions.
What to bring: A bath towel and something to drink. We also offer drinks on site. If you have your own surfing equipment, you are welcome to bring it with you. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you will need a declaration of consent from your parents or legal guardian.

To participate in our surfing courses you must be at least 16 years old and be able to swim.
At the beginning of the course, participants are introduced to the safety concept and then swim a short lap in the river to get a feel for the water.
Participants can then try out the static rope to practise standing up on the board before moving on to the UP STREAM SURFING system.
While always one participant surfs, two others sit on the underwater sail. Then they rotate and take turns surfing against the current.
Important: The consumption of drugs, alcohol and medication is prohibited before and during UP STREAM SURFING. Physical fitness is an advantage.
Swimwear is the most suitable. We also recommend socks under the neoprene shoes for hygienic reasons.
Yes, logo. We grant all active students a 10% discount. Please enter the code "STUDENT2021" when booking. Please show your student ID on site.
You don't need to worry about floating down the river. You can swim out after just a few meters, with or without a board. What's more, if you miss an exit point, there are many other ways to get out of the river.
Nevertheless, we have of course always positioned a coach as a safety post, just in case.
Yes, you must be at least 16 years old to surf on the river. However, if you are 16 or 17, you will need a written declaration of consent from your parents or legal guardian.
In general, you should not swim or surf alone in the river. We have developed a safety concept that allows you to surf up the river without any worries. What does this concept consist of?
- Trained coaches are always on site, and there are also regular training sessions in which the coaches maintain their practice.
- We do not use a leash. Because there is a risk that you could get caught under the surface of the water.
- Constant contact and exchange with the water rescue service.
- If there is a lot of flotsam, high water or other dangers in the water, we do not surf and postpone the session.
- A lifeguard is always on site. If you drift too far and feel that you can't make it out of the water on your own, we have placed a rescue post to help you or pull you out if the worst comes to the worst.
